Happy Holidays 2016!

Christmas cookies are my all time favorite to make.  Not only are they a hit on the dessert table, but they double as gifts!  I’ve made Santa for a few years in a row now, and I thought about branching out, but I couldn’t not make him–he’s just too cute! This year, though, I paired him with some milk, cookies, and personalized handwritten notes.

I also made New Years cookies for the first time this year!  It’s not my favorite holiday and it doesn’t have a great color scheme so I tend to skip it.  I’m going to a party at a family friend’s house this year though and wanted to bring something special.  I think the colorful lips and balloons are a fun take on the New Years motif!

Happy holidays to you and yours!

Back to (Law) School!

Yesterday my parents dropped me off in Philly to start my second year of law school!  I couldn’t leave without making some cookies first though 🙂  While my kitchen at school is not One Cute Cookie equipped, I’m already dreaming up all the cute cookies I’ll make when I go home!

Summer Fun

I have gotten to make so many cute cookies this summer. My new all time favorite cookies though: the PINEAPPLES!  They were so easy to make, and so adorable!  Best of all–they are mini!  Perfect for a bite sized treat 🙂

Happy Birthday America!

There is nothing I love more than combining two of my passions: cookies and calligraphy.  These 4th of July cookies were SO fun to make for that reason.  This year, I even tried my hand at a cake!  The fireworks cookies were actually from last 4th of July–they were the favors for my sister’s Independence Day […]

Happy 4th!

I love any reason to wear red, white, and blue so naturally the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.  In fact, I got the cutest patriotic headband from Target that I’ve been holding on to for about a month; I cannot wait to finally break it out for all the picnics this […]
